Appreciation from  NDPVF - We want to thank and commend all Ijaws, all Niger Deltans; particularly our Ijaw Rights Activists in our creeks, Chief Edwin Kiagbodo Clark, Alabo Tonye Graham Douglas, Chief Timipre Sylva-Sam, Mr. Festus Keyamo, Chief Dumo Lulu-Briggs, Prof. Wole Soyinka, Chief Gani Fawehinmi, Chief Femi Falana, the Pro-National Conference Organization (PRONACO) and all others, for their selfless, passionate, noble and unwavering commitment and tireless efforts to secure freedom for Dokubo-Asari and all other political prisoners in Nigeria. Special commendations also go to the United States, the United Nations, international human rights agencies and the international press for truthfully adjudging Dokubo-Asari as a political prisoner and honorably condemning his indefinite incarceration. Their unanimous defense of Human Rights, Democracy and the Rule of Law was an important and critical factor in persuading the Nigerian government to release him. Above all, we give thanks, honor and glory to Almighty God for granting and orchestrating Dokubo-Asari’ s release by his great mercy, grace and faithfulness.
