 THE DELIBRATE DENIAL OF THE FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS OF ALHAJI MUJAHID DOKUBO-ASARI BY THE GOVERNMENT OF THE NIGERIAN STATE SINCE THE RELEASE OF THE HOSTAGE.

The unfolding events in the Niger Delta region in recent times is a clear testimony of the deliberate plan of the Nigerian State to eliminate the people of the region from the surface of the earth, by the dubious government of the day who has employed every means at its disposal by constantly intimidating, maiming, blackmailing, killing and unduly arresting its leaders so as to divert the peoples attention from the issue at stake (i.e. the peoples quest and their agitation for self determination and the control of their God given resource ).   

It has been brought to our notice that the insensitive Government of the Nigerian State who is holding the amiable leader of the NIGER DELTA PEOPLES VOLUNTEER FORCE (NDPVF) Alhaji Mujahid Dokubo-Asari hostage is deliberately denying him his fundamental human right, and the privileges that is due him while in custody.

We are ceasing this medium to tell the world that Obasanjo in collaboration with the prison authorities are preventing family members, friends and visitors from seeing him. They are subjecting our indefatigable leader to untold hardship, and if any thing happens to him, we shall hold both Obasanjo and the prison authorities responsible.
