Mujahid Dokubo–Asari
DOKUBO
NEEDS MEDICAL TREATMENT ABROAD
Information reaching us from the
State Security Service cell of Alh. Mujahid Abubakr Dokubo-Asari is
that his health is failing. His situation worsened after he was
illegally and suspiciously moved from the custody of Force CID
Abuja, to SSS headquarters, Abuja. Ever since this satanic
transfer, he has been rendered incommunicado and placed in solitary
confinement. Consequently he has no access to the kind and source
of food that he can trust. To make matters worse, his family doctor
who is the only person that has seen him said that the drugs that he
recommended and bought for him was seized by the SSS official under
the guise that they will prefer to personally administer it to him.
As a matter of fact, his
condition of health is one that needs urgent expert attention such
that can only be obtained abroad considering the comatose state of
Nigerian health system. We demand that he should be released for
urgent medical treatment abroad if the Federal Government of Nigeria
is to prevent anything catastrophic from happening to him. The
people of Niger Delta have vowed that no drop of oil and gas will be
allowed to leave the region if Alh. Mujahid Abubakr Dokubo–Asari is
poisoned or killed. There is a standing example of somebody standing
on trial for treasonable felony but was allowed to fly abroad for
medical treatment on bail by this regime except General Obasanjo
wants to tell us that he is tribalistic and nepotistic.
Finally, we advice the
United Nations, African Union and Organization of Petroleum
Exporting Countries to wade into this Niger Delta imbroglio before
the whole thing becomes a melodrama. It does not have to become a
full blown war before international intervention will become
necessary. We call on the people of other regions of Nigeria to
support the Niger Delta struggle and call for the release of Alh.
Mujahid Abubakr Dokubo–Asari so that their case will not be like
that of the onlooker who is either a coward or a traitor. In the
story of the onlooker, there was a Jew, a catholic, a protestant and
an onlooker. When the oppressors came for the Jew, the onlooker
said, thank god I am not a Jew and the Jew was taken away and
slaughtered. Next, it was the turn of the catholic followed by the
protestant in like manner. By the time it got to the turn of the
onlooker, every body have been taken away and slaughtered. He
shouted and called for unity, cooperation and solidarity but unknown
to him there was no body remaining to join him and he was taken away
and slaughtered like his former neighbours. Let us learn form
history!
Thank you and may your
day be long!
The Niger Delta Struggle is
unstoppable!
